What is Lucide?
Lucide is an open-source SVG icon library that started as a community fork of Feather Icons after that project's development slowed down. It's grown well beyond Feather's original set, now covering a much broader range of icons while keeping the same simple, consistent stroke style. It ships as packages for React, Vue, Svelte, and plain SVG, and has become the default icon choice baked into shadcn/ui's own component examples.
