Payments are another category worth not building yourself, given the compliance and edge cases involved in handling money correctly. These providers handle checkout, subscription billing, and invoicing so you can accept payments without touching card data directly. Compare them on fee structure, supported payment methods, and how well they handle subscription-specific cases like upgrades and failed renewals.

Newer merchant-of-record entrant with a cheaper headline rate than Paddle/Polar. Worth a look if you're cost-sensitive and your product fits their eligibility rules.
